The AROHO Retreat is an investment in artistic development and literary community. Fellowships can help cut expenses, as can resident staff positions, consulting opportunities, and small-group facilitator positions. Your registration fee makes the retreat possible and helps keep AROHO alive.

Application before Nov. 15 without program proposal is $10.

The general application fee is always waived for writers submitting a proposal with their application.

Rustic housing in stunning desert surroundings is furnished by and payable to Ghost Ranch. Fees include all meals while on the ranch. Costs range from $348 to $690 dollars for the week depending on your choice of accommodations. Housing sign up will begin upon acceptance to AROHO's 2011 Retreat. |
Participants secure and pay for their own travel to and from Ghost Ranch, NM. A shuttle from the ABQ airport will be secured by AROHO. Cost for the round-trip service is $90. A rental car is a good option for women with mobility issues and for those who'd like to enjoy their free day off the Ranch. |
Throughout the week writers may indulge in special opportunities: individual consultations; books, books, and more books; tours of Georgia O'Keeffe's home; shopping in Santa Fe; AROHO Wear—or, pocket your cash and reap the priceless rewards of desert grasses, moonlight, and the energy of a like-minded creative community of women. |
